Summer of Surf

I'm not sure how many people have heard Juan mention the "Summer of Love" back in 2001 (if you want to hear more details, ask Juan; he loves talking about it). Juan, I know you were hoping for a Summer of Love Part II, but, at least to my knowledge, there haven't been any hook-ups yet (to all: please report any unknown hook-ups immediately; I need to be in the know

). However, due to the large amount of time spent surfing and the amount of people who already had boards or have recently aquired one (myself included), Kim and I have decided that thenceforth this summer, Summer 2003, shall be known as the Summer of Surf (or at least until someone else comes up with a better name, though I like this one).

New Surfboards

Speaking of new boards, Kim now has one! 8-)

She bought a 9'2" from Quiet Flight on Sat. That brings the newly bought board count to 3 (Kim, Yibo, and myself, with a possible fourth through Robbie) and the newly made board count remains at three (Mike, Juan, and Chris, though Chris still has some work to do on his and I'm not sure of the status on Juan's board). And we're only half-way through the summer!!
